What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and the OAuth identifier for the provider you sign in with (GitHub or Google). When you brief an operator we collect the URLs and any product details you provide.
We use product analytics (PostHog) to capture page views and feature usage. Analytics is off by default; we only enable it after you accept the cookie banner.
When you subscribe we use Stripe to process payments. We never receive or store your card number — Stripe handles that directly.
How we use it
We use your data to operate the product (run briefs, draft content, track positioning), send transactional email (receipts, weekly digests if enabled), and improve the service using aggregate analytics.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Sub-processors
We rely on a small number of vendors to run MarketStand: Stripe (billing), SendGrid (transactional email), PostHog (analytics and error monitoring), and our hosting provider. Each handles only the data needed to perform its function.
Your rights
You can export or delete your account data at any time from your settings page. If you are in the EU/UK and want a formal data request, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
